Politicians often resemble monkeys, don’t they? They’re always throwing feces at each other with hopes that they blind their opponent before they get blinded themselves.

It’s hard not to get caught up in the bravado and rhetoric that all politicians try to use as a hypnosis on their audience. “Think this way because I have exactly three kids and am just like you!” or “Vote for me because my opponent will downsize America as if it were a company and then sell it to China so they can use you to make barbie dolls!”.

The fact is that the responsibility falls on all of our shoulders, the voters, to find out not only about the issues, but also about what each candidate will do to attack those issues.

Since the political parties are busy throwing s*** at each other, P.T.B has you covered. Here are the platforms of the two major parties:

Republican Swag: http://www.gop.com/2012-republican-platform_home/

Democratic Swag: http://www.democrats.org/democratic-national-platform

We even threw in some monkey swag…

Do you think politicians aren’t transparent enough when it comes to informing voters of their platform? Should debates be more rigorous to combat this?
