The New York Times recently published a list of Obama’s Top “Bundlers.” These are individuals who collect funds from friends and business associates to support the Obama campaign. Many of the list’s top contributors are no surprises, considering their prominent affiliation with the Democratic National Committee. However, it does come as a surprise to see that Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of major American fashion magazine¬†Vogue, is number four on the list.

In the last two years alone, the internationally recognized fashion figure has raised more than $2.5 million, bringing her total contributions to the Obama campaign to almost $5.5 million. Being fourth on this list means Wintour is one of the best in persuading other wealthy individuals to donate money to the Democratic party.

Considering Wintour’s undeniable influence in the fashion world and beyond, what kinds of implications do you think this will have on Obama’s popularity?
